Rugged cast aluminum frame is only half the weight of comparable size forged steel snips; reinforcing handle ribs provide all the leverage needed to cut through hardened sheet metal, even seams, fast and easy. The frame's smooth profile allows cut material to flow unobstructed, away from the user's hand. Rounded contours fit the hand comfortably, and aluminum will notfeel cold. Separate inlaid blade components permit the use of cutlery grade high-carbon steel that is heat treated and tempered to stay sharper, longer, through continuous heavy duty use. Replaceable blades. Metallic gray finish.
